Application
Silicon dioxide Silica EC 700 and other materials are efficient “anti-adhesion” agents, preventing the adhesion of polymer or plastic film layers. This includes both single silicon dioxide and physical mixtures.
Using silicon dioxide as an anti-adhesion agent prevents the sticking together of polymer film layers, commonly known as “blocking” in the industry. Silicon dioxide anti-adhesion agents also enhance the surface structure of the film, thereby improving scratch resistance. Grease offers a range of products suitable for various film thicknesses and polymer types.
This synthetic silica provides several advantages in polymer film and your manufacturing process, including:
- Efficiency – Achieving the desired effect with lower concentrations.
- Excellent dispersion and high film transparency.
- Stable and reproducible product quality.
The product can be used for multi-layer films (OPP, BOPP) and single-layer films (CPP, IPP) in polypropylene (PP). It is also suitable for linear low-density polyethylene (LLPDE) and low-density polyethylene (LPDE) films.
