Epoxy Silane Oligomer Crosile® AK200

Crosile® AK200 has a more obvious effect on adhesion enhancement under acidic conditions (pH=4 or so). The epoxy silane Crosile® AK200 is stable in water and does not affect performance if stored for a long time.

Chemical Properties

Crosile® AK200 Silane is an epoxy functional silane oligomer for use as a coupling agent for use with acrylic, styrene-acrylic, vinyl-acrylic, polyurethane dispersions, epoxy dispersions and other anionic or cationic adhesives, Adhesion Promoter and Crosslinker Waterborne Coatings.

This product contains a multifunctional structure with γ-glycidyloxy groups, which reduces methanol emissions from hydrolysis of the material compared to typical monomeric epoxy silanes Crosile® 560.

Crosile® AK200 is developed for the following typical applications:

»Improves dry and wet adhesion

»Good storage stability

»Improve the corrosion resistance and enhance the mechanical properties of coatings, adhesives and sealants

»Fewer volatile organic compounds are released than typical silane monomers
